Doncaster Rovers: Leicester City U21 game 'can wash away Gillingham defeat'
Defender Shane Blaney believes Wednesday night’s clash with Leicester City U21 has come at the ideal time with the disappointment of defeat to Gillingham in the FA Cup still fresh.
And the 20-year-old says a strong performance against the young Foxes outfit will help put Sunday’s loss to bed and allow Rovers to quickly move on.

“I think it’s good that there can be a reaction on Wednesday night and hopefully we can kick on from there and onto Saturday.
“It’s gone now. We’ve done our analysis on it and everyone is looking forward to it.
“That is the good thing about this one coming up so quickly.”

Hide AdBlaney - who captains the club’s U23 side - is pushing for a start in the fixture, having played in the final group game against Rotherham United.
The centre half was not involved in the U23s’ 3-2 defeat to Grimsby Town on Tuesday.
