Doncaster Rovers confirm deals offered to two scholars while rest of second years are released
Midfielder Liam Ravenhill and goalkeeper Ben Bottomley have both been offered full time pro terms while the rest of the group have been released.
Ravenhill made his senior debut for Rovers off the bench in the FA Cup win over FC United of Manchester this season before being handed a start in the Papa John's Trophy against Wolverhampton Wanderers U23s a few days later.

Hide AdThe 18-year-old made it into 11 senior matchday squads this season before returning to the U18s, who were in a separate bubble due to Covid-19 restrictions.
Ravenhill – son of former Rovers midfielder Ricky – was called up for Northern Ireland U21 duty on two occasions.
Goalkeeper Bottomley saved a penalty in the U18s' impressive win over Category Two academy side Hull City in the second round of the FA Youth Cup this term.
The 18-year-old was involved in eight senior matchday squads this season, including the final five matches of the season.

Hide AdDefenders Max Jemson and Lewis Cunningham, midfielders Charlie Bell, Ethan Bojang and Josh Clemitson, and strikers Luca Nelson and Owan Derrett have all been released. None of those released made senior appearances for the club.

Bojang represented Gambia in the U20 Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year.
Rovers have confirmed the identity of their next crop of first year scholars.

Hide AdEthan Harrison, Jack Raper, Faris Khan, Charlie Petch, Joshua Lindley, Thomas Parkinson, Thomas Chambers, Jak Whiting, Alex Fletcher, and Jack Goodman have all signed scholarship terms with the club.
