Ramsey’s was the name on everyone’s lips after his blistering debut last Tuesday when he netted twice in a brilliant individual performance in the 3-0 demolition of Tranmere Rovers.
But the Aston Villa loanee endured a much tougher time in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Rochdale and struggled to impose himself on the game.

“He’s a wonderful signing and acquisition for us,” Moore said.
“He got the two goal for us on Tuesday night and he’s played the game on Saturday and learned about the different types of games.
“That will be huge for Jacob on his second league outing for us at the football club.

“He’ll be a good player for us but also it’ll be a wonderful learning curve for him in terms of his future as a footballer.”
Having endured a taxing week, Ramsey may be one of those who drops to the bench for Tuesday night’s clash with Bolton Wanderers.
Moore made two changes to his side from Tranmere against Rochdale with Jon Taylor and Reece James returning in place of Niall Ennis and Cameron John.

“We’ve got to freshen it up because there is an accumulation of games,” Moore said.
“People look at the game in isolation but there is always an accumulation of games that you’ve got to look at and there are games ahead of us.
“We’ve got to utilise the squad, keep the squad fresh, try to stay away from injuries from overuse and trying to work the squad a bit.
“We’re in a cluster of games and they are coming thick and fast.”
