Seven arrests after drug raids at five properties in South Yorkshire
Police say the planned raids are part of a ‘ongoing operation’ to disrupt criminal activity and tackle crime in the areas.

Hide AdFrom the properties in Maltby, three men, two aged 29-years-old and one aged 27-years-old, were arrested on suspicion of burglary and a 37-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply heroin and for failing to appear at Rotherham Magistrates’ Court.
A 44-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods, possession of cannabis and possession of amphetamine and a 43-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply heroin.
From the property in Tickhill, a 49-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cannabis cultivation and possession of amphetamine after drugs and a large quantity of cash were recovered from the address.
Detective Sergeant Iain Martin said: “I’m pleased with the results and I hope it sends out a very clear message that we will not tolerate criminal activity.
