Ex-Doncaster football duo join Sky Sports Soccer Saturday line-up
Former Doncaster Rovers Belles and England ace Sue Smith and Rovers cult hero Adebayo Akinfenwa will both appear alongside host Jeff Stelling on the station’s flagship Saturday afternoon football show, it has been confirmed.
The channel recently sacked Matt Le Tissier, Charlie Nicholas and Phil Thompson and has introduced a new line up for the 2020-21 season.

Hide AdThe show will also feature Paul Merson and Chris Kamara, as well as new additions of Clinton Morrison, Alan McInally and Glen Johnson.
Merson is the last man remaining from the four regular pundits on Sky Sports' results show.
As reported by The Times, former Arsenal and Aston Villa star Merson considered leaving the programme after discovering the news that his three pals had been axed.
Smith, who enjoyed a successful career with England, spent the twilight of her playing days a Doncaster, joining the club in December 2011.

Hide AdAfter suffering several injuries she left Doncaster before the 2017 season and although she never announced her retirement from football, she has not played since the end of the 2016 season.
Meanwhile, Akinfenwa has become a cult figure in the world of football, due to his huge size which has earned him the nickname The Beast.
The 38-year-old, who plays as a striker for Championship club Wycombe Wanderers, is fondly remembered for his brief but successful spell at Rovers in 2004.
He scored four goals in nine games and was part of the team that helped Rovers to the Division Three title in 2003-04.
