Man steals 'substantial' amount of cash in Doncaster off-licence burglary
The break-in occurred at the Booze Barn in Church Street, Conisbrough where a man damaged the front shutter and glass-paneled door in order to gain access to the property.
Despite the fact the incident occurredsometime overnight between Easter Monday last year (6 April) and the following day (Tuesday 7 April) - police have only launched this appeal today due to their 'initial enquiries' leading them to believe 'a particular person was responsible'.

Hide AdThe burglary was reported to police when a member of staff arrived for work on Tuesday, April 7 last year and discovered the front shutter and glass-panelled door had been damaged.
Officers reviewed CCTV footage, which shows a man returning to the property several times over almost three hours, where he uses a variety of different instruments to break in.
The man is believed to have stolen a substantial amount of cash during the burglary.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Chris Lindley said: “We recognise this burglary occurred over eight months ago and our initial enquiries led us to believe a particular person was responsible.

Hide Ad"However, and following a number of financial checks and work with another police force, the focus of the investigation has changed and we need to identify the person in the CCTV footage.”
