The White Bear in Epworth serves a great range of breakfasts from 8am to noon, including cereals to full English breakfast, and you can get a tea worth £1.95, or coffee worth £2 or orange juice worth £2.40 with any breakfast choice, seven days a week. A popular country eatery, run by Matt Lees and Pauline Garner, the White Bear has exciting food on offer all year round and they are taking bookings right now for their mouth-watering meals. Parties are always welcome in the attractive setting. Get together with colleagues, family or friends for birthdays, anniversaries or any kind of celebration in these intimate surroundings. Also served noon until closing time every day you can choose from the Ploughman’s Platter, honey roast ham, mature cheddar, Scotch egg, pickled onions, piccalilli and a crusty baguette. Or try the continental platter with Parma ham, chorizo, selection of olives, mozzarella, sun-dried tomatoes, balsamic dip and a crusty baguette – £13.95 for one or £19.95 for two. This includes a bottle of house wine with any platter for two for only an extra £10. Customers can also choose a cheese board – Cheddar, Stilton and Brie served with homemade red onion marmalade and a selection of cheese biscuits – £7.50 for one or £13 for two sharing. Also being served at the White Bear is two sirloins for £25 and also the fantastic offer of two fillets for £30. Three-course meals with all the trimmings are always on offer and the White Bear aims to cater for all tastes and ages, including for vegetarians, with food made fresh to order.
