Doncaster woman escapes injury after shots fired at her car in late night attack

Armed police descended on Stoops Lane in Bessacarr last night after people living in the area reported gunshots.
Now footage has emerged on social media showing a vehicle with two of its passenger side windows shattered by bullets following the shocking attack.

Hide AdPolice were called to the street shortly before 11.20pm last night after reports that shots had been fired towards a vehicle.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “On arrival at the scene, officers found evidence consistent with a firearms discharge.
“Extensive searches of the area were carried out by armed response officers.
“No injuries have been reported.
“There remains a police presence in the area this morning as specialist officers continue with their enquiries.”

Hide AdPhotos from the scene show the street sealed off with police tape near to the junctions with Whitton Close and Hallam Close.
A woman, believed to the driver of the vehicle, shared a short piece of footage of the damaged car on social media and wrote: “Thanks to whoever shot my car up tonight.
"Next time come to me with your issues rather than coming outside my 50 year old parents house and sh***** them up.
Not as if I even have a clue why they’ve done it.
"You’re f****** divvis.
“If anyone knows who it was send me a message.”
