North Lincolnshire people are signing up to improve their mental wellbeing in the New Year according to the region’s first recovery college.

The Options Recovery College, run by Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH), is reporting that courses for its spring term, which starts in January, are already nearly fully booked with only a few spaces available – a month before they are due to start.

From its base at Sandfield House in Ashby High Street, the college runs free educational courses that support people in managing everyday mental health issues, including stress, anxiety, low mood, low self-confidence and sleep problems, as well as offering support in improving overall mental and physical health.
