Coronavirus: Morrisons introduces special shopping hour for NHS staff

Many health service staff have been unable to stock up on food after unprecedented scenes at supermarkets across Britain left shelves stripped bare.
Now Morrisons has announced that a special hour will be set aside for NHS staff only six days a week.

Hide AdA spokesman for the firm said: “Many NHS workers have said they're struggling to buy what they need at the beginning or end of their shift as supermarkets have seen unprecedented demand.
“So we're responding by introducing an NHS hour at all our stores every day, Monday to Saturday from 7am to 8am, so they can shop for groceries for themselves and their family.”
The firm’s stores will be open as normal on Sundays.
