These are the Doncaster businesses you are missing most during lockdown

Visit Doncaster has run a Lockdown Awards which looks at what residents have missed most during the months since we were able to get out and about in the borough when it was business as usual.
The awards were set up around four categories, covering food, drink, visitor attractions and entertainment all voted for by the public via social media.
Most Entertaining Business/Personality:

Hide AdWinner: Miss Marina Mae. Singer Marina May, from Epworth, is best known for performing songs from the 1940s. Runner up: Johnny Gibson. Johnny is a Doncaster DJ who also runs pubs quizzes at venues across the borough
Most Missed Pub/Bar:
Winner: Debbie’s Bar The Shack. It is a Doncaster town centre bar located on Silver Street; Runner up: Horse & Groom. A pub on East Laith Gate near Doncaster town centre, well known for running live music.
Most Missed Eatery:
Winner: The Chase Tea Room. A family run team room based in Bawtry.
Runner up: Brix Coffee Co. Eating venue on Station Retail Park, Kirk Sandall
Most Missed Attraction:

Hide AdWinner: Yorkshire Wildlife Park, Branton. High profile zoo in Branton. Runner up: The Twisted Knot, Sprotbrough. Small business which offers parties where visitors make their own personalist woodwork items.
Aisha Hassan, of Visit Doncaster, who organised the awards said there had been around 27,000 votes posted in the awards.
She added: “We hope that this goes to show Doncaster businesses that they still have the support of the public."
